fuel & co nundah – Must do Brisbane

On Brisbane’s northside, Fuel & Co. offers great food, a dash of funk, pops of color and a chilled vibe.

In a leafy Nundah street, this cafe is a stand out, with loads of street appeal. It’s cute, modern and old-world like all at once and the combination is a real eye catcher. Hanging plants, sleek timber fencing and bright pops of yellow in the form of yellow wicker furniture at the entrance all tempt the passer-by to wander in. The decor here is an eclectic mix of modern, rustic, elegant and casual – something for everyone.

Choose to sit in the chilled out and leafy courtyard, on the veranda, at the timber breakfast bar (inside or street side) or inside where rustic timber tables mix with elegant seating.

Chef, Vince Moefaauo has a fine dining background, previously having owned his own cafe and working at Versace. His menu offers a wide range of options, covering breakfast, lunch, snacks and sweet treats. Using local produce and breads from Le Sebastian of West End, he produces creative, fresh and mouth watering dishes – think blueberry hot cake with pepita, maple and mascarpone, brioche French toast with grilled banana and salted caramel ice-cream or seasonal avocado on quinoa toast with dukkah.
